Ugandan music legend, Dr. Jose Chameleone real names Joseph Mayanja has promised to give Bebe Cool Shs 1Million if he scoops the AFRIMA award in Ghana.
While appearing on a local TV in an interview, the self-proclaimed Doctor and the Leone Island boss revealed that he has no single issue with his music rival, Bebe Cool adding that he respects Bebe Cool as a brother and musically.
He argued all Ugandan artistes to always be supportive because this is not a one man’s privilege but its for the country at large, but the issue of fighting each other because of some personal reasons will not help the industry to grow.
“Those awards are not ours but for the country, let’s learn to support each other banange, I promise, if Bebe Cool comes back home with that AFRIMA Award, am going to give him 1Million shillings as part of my contribution to a celebrations party,” Jose Chameleone said.
It should be noted that Bebe Cool is the only Ugandan male nominee at the ongoing AFRIMA awards in Ghana.
