Kampala: Tooro United picked up a 2-1 win against Water FC at Buhinga stadium in fort portal on Thursday in matchday one of the 2021 FUFA big league. Tooro United is in the Rwenzori group where it will face opponents like Water itself, Proline FC, Kigezi Home Boyz FC, Ndejje University FC, Nyamityobora FC, Luweero United FC and Terrazo & Tiles FC.

Former Vipers head coach Edward Golola who is currently at the Fort portal-based club will be focusing on a mission to lead the club back to the Star-Times Uganda Premier League after last year’s relegation. Tooro United will face off with the lethal Proline in matchday two away at the MTN Omondi stadium.
Elsewhere, in the Rwenzori Group, Ndejje University and Nyamityobora shared the spoils in a goalless stalemate at the Arena of Visions in Bombo.

The newly-promoted Luwero Town Council and Terrazo & Tiles also shared a goalless draw while Proline outshined Kigezi homeboys 4-0 at the MTN Omondi stadium.
