Ugandan billionaire Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, the founder and chairman of Ruparelia Group, has once again topped the list of Uganda’s wealthiest individuals for 2024. The latest rankings reveal that he remains at the pinnacle of the country’s richest entrepreneurs.
The rankings are based on a comprehensive evaluation of assets, including cash, private investments, and public holdings, with liabilities deducted to determine net worth. The list focuses on individual wealth rather than extended family assets, though it does consider the immediate family’s contributions to the wealth.
Sudhir’s investments are mainly in the banking, insurance, education, broadcasting, real estate, floriculture and hotels and resorts sectors.
