Preparations are in high gear at Victoria University Kampala where famous employers, business entrepreneurs and experts are set to tip students on the employment opportunities but also equip them with the highly demanded employment skills.
The above will be at the launch of the University’s Career Readiness and Employability Program (CREP) scheduled for 3rd May 2023, aiming to enhance students with employable skills and stand out potentially in the job market.
According to University’s management, among the presenters expected at the above-mentioned launch are the Director of Human Resource Uganda Police-AIGP Godfrey Kiwanuka Golooba (as Chief Guest) and the Chief Executive Officer Stanbic Business Incubator (as the keynote speaker). Others are CEO AWL Germany-Mr Jorg Schaffer and Recruitment Director CWG Recruit-Nishant Mamtora.
The launch will also feature a couple of panelists among them including; Simon Kasyate – KCCA Dept. Director Public & Corporate Affairs, CEO Jada Coffee Ms Jackline Arinda, Human Capital Expert Ms Harriet Musoke, Nutrition & Public Health Consultant at USAID Ms Gloria Nabasa.
On the same launch, the University has invited a number of guest speakers among them including famous philanthropist and entrepreneur Frank Gashumba, Brand Strategist Ms Grace Nafuna, Specialist in Human Performance Systems & Career Consultant Mr Ambrose Kibuuka and General Manager-Marketing Stabex International Mr Gilbert Otim.
“All the presentations will be hosted at Victoria University’s main hall from 9 am and the launch will be live on NBS TV moderated by Jackie Mutesi,” says the University.
