Young rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo, popularly known as Fresh Kid, has achieved an impressive 11 aggregates in his Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) of 2024 that were released today Thursday. Attending Kampala Parents School, he earned distinctions in English and Science, a credit in Social Studies, and a pass in Mathematics. Fresh Kid is among the 84,301 candidates nationwide who secured a Division One ranking.
In the 2023 PLE results, Kampala Parents School continued its tradition of excellence. The school reported that all 210 of its candidates achieved Division One grades, with the majority scoring between 4 to 6 aggregates. This consistent performance underscores the institution’s commitment to academic excellence.
Comparatively, in the 2022 PLE results, Kampala Parents School had 291 out of 410 candidates attaining Division One, with 16 pupils scoring the top aggregate of 4. This indicates an improvement in 2023, with a higher percentage of students achieving Division One and more pupils attaining top aggregates.
Fresh Kid’s accomplishment is particularly noteworthy as he balanced his burgeoning music career with academic responsibilities. In October 2024, he announced a temporary pause from music to focus on his studies and secondary school selection, emphasizing the importance of education alongside his artistic pursuits.
