TheSpy Uganda has learnt with deep sorrow of the untimely death of Mama Constance Kabakaali Muhangaizima, the mother to veteran journalist Andrew Mwenda, Brig. Muhanga Kayanja and Burahya Woman Member of Parliament Margaret Muhanga,wife to former NFA Executive Director Micheal Mugisa.
Muhangazima, 84, died of acute heart complications at Nakasero Hospital on Monday.
Mr Mwenda announced his mother’s demise on Monday evening, revealing that his mother had passed away at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala. Mwenda wrote thus on social media; “I would like to inform all our friends and family that our dear mother, Mrs. Constance Muhangaizima, has just passed away at Nakasero Hospital about ten minutes ago. We shall be informing you all about next plans for escorting her to the paradise she prepared her life for”.
Mama Muhangazima’s demise comes a few days after the passing on of Queen Mother Christine Mukirania, the mother of Rwenzururu king Charles Wesley Mumbere. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
