Califonia: In May, the trending seven-year-old rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo a.k.a Fresh Kid was in the driving seat after bagging his very first nomination in the Carolina Music Video Awards (CMVAs).
The ‘Bambi’ singer came out victorious on 20 July 2019 beating all his opponents both from Uganda and other parts of the world who were in the same group to win the Best International Music Video award at the awards that happened yesterday at the NASCAR Hall of Fame High Octane Theater in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The song was much more welcomed by his fans from home and in the diaspora who looked at his super lyrical rap skills he exhibited and demonstrated in the video making him one of the World’s new kids on the block to watch out for as he continues to perfect his Luga Flow style.
Fresh Kid is on his road to being included on the list of other top African kids like DJ Arch Junior and Emmanuella.
The elated singer took to his social media platforms to announce the big news as he also used the opportunity to thank the people who have helped him achieve his dream.
God is great. I have been announced as the winner of BEST INTERNATIONAL MUSIC VIDEO in the CAROLINA MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS for my BAMBI song. I dedicate this Award to: My Family, De Texas Entertainment, Fans (both in UG & Worldwide), TV & Radio Presenters, Magazines, and Newspapers.
The Young star has been doing music actively for less that seven months and he is already reaping the fruits of his hard work. We congratulate him and his management upon the big achievement.
