Pader: The rate at which Kyandodo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine is annoying government officials for attending funerals is soon going out of hand.

The other day former Vice President Specioza Wandera Kazibwe lambasted him for attending a funeral in Busoga region.

This time round he it is deputy speaker Jacob Oulanyah, who over the weekend got angered by Bobi Wine’s appearance at the funeral of former Deputy Paramount Chief of Acholi William George Lugai, who.

Our Spies reveal that pandemonium broke out at late Lugai’s funeral when Bob Wine arrived, and he was treated to a thunderous applaud from thousands of mourners, who had gathered in Pajule Town council, Pader.

Bobi Wine arrived at the funeral in the company of People Power pressure group mouthpiece Joel Ssenyonyi and Kilak South Member of Parliament Gilbert Olanya, whom he appointed the People Power Mobilizer in Acholi Sub-region recently.

Bobi Wine, Senyonyi and Olanya, who were all dressed in black suits, excited the mourners, who started clamouring to have a look at the legislators while chanting ‘People Power’.

However,  that did not go  down well with  the deputy speaker, who made it clear  while giving his speech that he was not happy at all with Bobi Wine, whom he said had ‘Gate-Crashed’ the funeral.

To make matters worse, Bobi Wine and his group reached at a time when Oulanyah was giving a speech. So the loud cheers from the mourners and the attention accorded them by the masses  interrupted Oulanyah’s speech for several minutes, which annoyed him the more.

As if to express his anger, while eulogizing Mzee Lugai, Oulanyah said Acholi people are tired of fights and asked that whoever wanted to start a fight should start so from their home region.

“Leave us alone…….., if you want to start violence, start it from your side. Acholi are tired, we are tired of war. Please take it else were, take the fight elsewhere…,” said Oulanyah.
