Popular musician turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, who is the Member of Parliament for Kyadondo East constituency, is back again with his controversial songs.
After the singer cum MP released ‘Kyarenga’ and ‘Engule’, which were regarded as highly political, he has released another song titled ‘Osobola’ , which will not tickle government the right way.
In the ‘Osobola’, which he did with Nubian Lee, Bobi Wine calls upon Ugandans to change the lives they are living, without fearing anything or anyone, not even political leaders.
However, it is not yet clear whether the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) will allow radio, TV stations and other airwaves to broadcast Bobi Wine’s new song, because of the political innuendos it carries.
Bobi’s ‘Kyarenga’ and ‘Engule’ songs have since banned from radio and TV stations across the country.
The police also banned Bobi Wine from staging music concerts concerts to perform any of his songs which are regarded by many as anti-government.
It is not yet clear whether the police will allow him to launch this new song; only time will
