Grief has engulfed believers of the Faith of Unity, based in Muharro town, Kagadi district, following the untimely death of Omukwenda Biijabyonka Bisaka, who was a popular musician.
Biijabyonka was son of Omukama Ruhanga Bisaka Owobusobozi, a self-styled demigod running a cult in western Uganda with tens of thousands of followers.
Biijabyonka’s death was confirmed to our Spy by Rays Asiimwe, a family friend and producer at Sound Factory studios, where the late was recording his music from.
Asiimwe revealed that Biijabyonka passed away at Mulago hospital where he had been bedridden for days prior to his demise.
However, Asiimwe was still skeptical about the actual cause of his Friend’s death by the time of filing this story and noted that the family was still waiting for the postmortem report.
The deceased was renowned musician in western Uganda with songs like “Ekyana Kyentale”, ‘Tulyagyaguza,’ ‘Sembera%, among others.
But many of Bisaka’s believers and followers have remained asking themselves why and how come he failed to prevent the death of his son, yet he claims to be a god with power to create and bestow blessings, on top of healing afflictions, granting them fertility, casting demons out of the possessed, among others.
