BBS TV CEO Joel Kigozi suspended over missing money!

By our reporter

Barely a fortnight after UBC suspended senior managers to pave way for a probe into financial irregularities, Buganda Broadcasting Service (BBS)-Terefayina eyaffe has asked its pioneer chief executive Joel Kigozi to step aside to pave way for independent investigations into the disappearance of station’s money. The investigations are being carried out by an independent audit firm.

Unlike Kigozi who was only suspended, seven others were dismissed, including Jackson Bikangaga, Bernadette Acago, two staff members from Sales and marketing department only identified as Doreen and Bogere.

Kigozi, formerly a PRO and 4-4-2 sports programe presenter at NBS Television resigned his job to join the Kabaka lead institution’s only Tv station as CEO where he has been earning in millions per month.

He, infact, left the country shortly after his suspension and is currently in Edmonton, Canada, with his family enjoying the fruits of his ‘hard work’!

The station believes the loss could be bigger, according to what they discovered and have since hired auditors to go through the transactions of the station since its inception under his leadership. “You see this man is even showing it clearly that he has indeed made some good dime to the extent that whereas investigations are going on,he is chopping his dime with his family in Edmonton,Canada” a source added.
