Entebbe: Celebrated musician Eddy Kenzo, who recently returned from America with the coveted United States of America African Entertainer of the year award, has been invited to State House Entebbe by President Yoweri Museveni for a state dinner.
Kenzo revealed this joyful news on Monday afternoon when he posted on social media thus;
“HI GUYS !! THANK YOU THE HASHTAG WEYAYU I’M INVITED BY THE HEAD OF STATE. IN RECOGNITION OF MY CONTRIBUTION TO THE COUNTRY AND AFRICA AT LARGE. WHAT SHOULD I TELL HIM?”
He however did not reveal the exact date of when he is meeting President Museveni, although our Spy reveals that it is slated for later this week.
Kenzo, whose controversial song titled ‘System Volongoto, which is one of the songs that helped him win the coveted award, caught the eye of several political pundits and it has since been banned on some radio and TV stations.
But it should be recalled that Kenzo’s ‘Stamina’ was used in the Presidential campaigns of 2021-2012 by the National Resistance Movement (NRM), which paid him very well for a job well done.
