Mbarara was taking the game to KCCA and all that stood between them and a second goal was Lukwag; the shot stopper did well to dribble past Ahebwa from close range before pushing away a Pistis Barenge long-range drive.

Mbarara City took the lead when midfielder Bebe Swalik Ssegujja scored with a stunning long-range effort into the roof of the net after Ssenjobe’s poor clearance.

KCCA called for the third and final change of the game when Kezironi Kizito’s place was taken over by teenager Steven Sserwadda with a quarter an hour to play.
