Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, who is also the leader of the People Power movement, has assured First son Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, that there won’t be any talks with him unless he tells his father President Yoweri Museveni to stop killing and torturing Ugandans.
Bobi Wine made the remarks in a tweet on Friday afternoon, when he tweeted thus;“I’ m open to talks with anyone but before that, you and your father should stop actions that have left many orphans, widows and torture victims.”
He added that “Remove the boot off my neck, and we will have a voice to speak with you.”
Bobi Wine responding to Gen. Muhoozi’s earlier tweet about the two of them meeting for talks, ahead of the 2021 presidential elections.
Gen. Muhoozi had tweeted on Thursday thus;
“Alot of my supporters are telling me to sit down and talk to my brother Bobi Wine. I have no problem talking to him, we talked in the past and were friends. I just advise all the youth never to seek war over peace.”
It should be noted that ever since he declared intentions to contest against President Museveni, Bobi Wine, whose primary source of income is music, has faced rough treatment from state organs.
His music shows were blocked, with police citing non-compliance with the law.  His presidential consultative meetings have since been blocked by police, while several of his People Power movement supporters have either been abducted, tortured or murdered by state security agents.
