The Minister in Charge of General Duties in the Office of the Prime Minister Hon. Mary Karooro Okurut, who was this week appointed to head the Taskforce collecting financial contributions for the fight against Coronavirus, has released a list of those who have contributed so far.
Chief among those on the list is city tycoon Dr Sudhir Ruparelia, who together with Ruparelia Group of Companies and Ruparelia Foundation, donated two Tata Xenon pickup trucks, to COVID-19 emergencies.
Below are some of the donations so far, although Hon. Karooro promised that the list will be updated as and when new donations are registered:
