Singer Eddy Yawe and artiste and elder brother to Kyadondo East legislator Hon. Robert Ssentamu kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has been arrested in the wee hours of Thursday morning as he headed to Entebbe International Airport to receive hos young brother Bobi Wine who has been in the US for specialized treatment following his alleged brutal arrest along other 33 in the aftermath of Arua by-elections.
Also arrested are singer Nubian li (Bobi’s singing partner), Dan Magic (Bobi’s music producer), Mikkie Wine( Bobi’s young brother).
Journalists-NTV’s Joel Ssenyonyi and Kingdom Television’s Siraje Kiberu were also arrested and are currently being held at Bwebajja police post, some 18km from Entebbe Airport. Their equipment was also confiscated by security operatives who couldn’t verily be identified.
Bobi Wine is expected to arrive at Entebbe Airport anytime from now
