Bukedea Town Council played an outstanding game to hold down the Jogoos to a barren draw.
Villa continued with a barrage of counter attacks in the first five minutes that kept the Town Council defence busy.
Bukedea TC new goal keeper, Opio was a man to watch as he made several classical saves. The former KCCA FC second choice goalkeeper left all Villa players with angry faces.
Bashir Kalungi the Town Council head coach was impressed with the performance of his boys saying the lads played to their best.
“This is not the result we wanted but all I can say is that my boys played to the level that I want. Am really impressed with how the lads showed pace and confidentiality in the game,” He said.
“Villa is a strong team, everyone knows that but we disorganized them today. They play in the Premier League, we are in the Big League but we came with no fear,” he added.
Simon Misearch Opio the Town Council captain told TheSpy that they have been training for this game and the boys delivered what the boss wanted.
“Am really happy that the boys played well and delivered what the boss wanted, it was not an easy game but we were able to settle for a draw though it’s not what we wanted,” Misearch said.
