Britania launches 2018 back to school promo, customers to get crazy offers for one month!

Ntinda based Pioneer processors of natural fruit juice-Splash Company, Britania Allied Ind.Ltd will on Saturday morning flag off a back to School promotional campaign that will last for one month, from January 13th to February 11th 2018, company’s head of Marketing Ms.Treza Birungi has revealed.

In a closed door meeting with this reporter at their head offices in Ntinda on Monday Treza said the Promotion mainly targets the back to school spenders, adding that they stand a chance to get more than they pay for on all selected company items across all major Supermarkets around Town and Kikubo from.

The Trademark Splash will also be discounted this season.

“From 13th January our esteemed customers will access these offers upon buying selected products worth certain amounts of money in their different categories”, said Treza.

A customer who will spend between UGX 20,000 and 30,000 on Sun-Sip or Splash in all sizes is entitled to a 1Litre Sun-Sip free, from UGX 3,100 and 40,000 one is entitled to 1litre Sun-Sip + Butter/cashew cookie.

Where as one who spends between UGX 41,000 and 60,000 will get 1litre Splash + Butter/cashew cookie, one who spends between UGX 61000 and 80000 will get free 3litres of Sun-Sip. Finally, one who will spend 81,000 and above is entitled to 1litre Splash and a branded company T-shirt. “Instead of the customer going through the hassle of calculating discounts on his preffred products,we decided to translate such discount into a direct product and attach it on the sale” Treza said.

Supermarkets where to find these discounts include all Capital Shoppers (Ntinda,Nakasero and Nakawa), Cynibel Smkts (Lweza and Kiwatule),Quality Smkts (Ntinda,Naalya,Martin R’d and Lweza) and ShopRite smkts”,said Treza. Other supermarkets include Jazz smkt Bugolobi, Embassy Nsambya, Millenium Kisementi, Freedom City and all Mega Standard supermarkets.

The multi Billions worth company recently opened up an outlet at their factory in a bid to meet the ever increasing customer demands.

In an exclusive interview with this reporter at their head office in Ntinda Industrial area, a Kampala suburb the company’s new General Manager Sales & Marketing Mr.Ritesh Rajnikant said this was done to ease customers who endure jam in town running to Kikubo or distributors and queue up for their favorite various products. “If you’ve been to Kikubo jam or you’ve driven to your nearest distributor and failed to get your full order because the distributor delayed to re-stock his store or he told you the truck was on the way from the factory then you know what it means going to the source”, Said Mr.Ritesh

Apart from cutting the hassle one goes through trekking to Kikubo for the same, customers are to save more money from the discounted prices accustomed with avoiding ‘middle men’. Secondly, the prices will be more fairer because the company has cut off the cost of transport it would incur taking the same to kikubo or to Distributors, since this cost is now being met by the customer. Just imagine a trader in Ntinda has been going to Kikubo to buy what they left in their neighborhood!” added Mr.Ritesh.

Other than their trade mark 150ml,250ml and 1Ltr Splash, Britania also produces Top-Up sauces, Sun-Sip,Yo-jus and variety Biscuits among others.
