MASAVU COACH,PLAYER BANNED OVER ‘UNSPORTING’ BEHAVIOR!

Masavu head coach Alex Gitta and midfielder Ddumba Sadala have been slapped with a four match ban by the Uganda Premier League secretariat for attacking match officials

According to the match report, the accused insulted, abused and attacked the match officials during and after the game against Mbarara City FC in a match held at Kakyeka on December 22, 2017.

“Alex Gitta and Ddamba Sadala have been found guilty of unsporting conduct towards match officials. Pursuant to article 30.18(i) of the FUFA competitions rules 2017/18, Gitta Alex has been slapped with a four match touchline ban in the Azam Uganda Premier League. He is further barred from accessing the dressing room during his team’s matches during the period of the said ban. His co-accused Ddamba Sadala has also been suspended for four (4) games”, the panel said in a press statement

Masavu FC ended the first round of the league third on the table from the bottom with 14 points from 15 games.
