Kampala: Through the Institution’s Academic Registrar Alfred Masikye Namoah, Makerere University has released the graduation program ahead of their 71st graduation ceremony slated to run from 16th to 19th March 2021.

According to the newly released program, graduation lists will be displayed in colleges from 8th to 12th February 2021 and the final graduation booklet will be ready on February 26th 2021.
The graduation lists will be submitted to the academic registrar on 15th February 2021 while recess examination results are expected to be ready by 1st February next year.
Speaking of graduation materials like gowns, booklets and others, graduands are expected to collect them starting from 2nd to 12th March 2021.

Makerere University was forced to push the graduation ceremony to March following the outbreak of COVID-19 that led to the closure of universities, making it impossible for finalists to sit for exams and get marked in time.
