Kampala: NRM’s artist Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool last night faced it rough when he was kicked out from the Nigerian High Commission in Kampala like a chicken thief, following his comments via his social media handles a day before, asking Ugandan authorities to arrest Nigerian artistes Omah Lay and Tems for staging a concert in Uganda amidst Covid-19 pandemic.

Stanley Omah Didia alias Omah Lay, Temilade Openyi alias Tems were released yesterday from jail after spending two days behind coolers for allegedly violating COVID-19 rules in after they held a concert in Kampala.
Meanwhile, after pressure from the Nigerian musician community, Bebe Cool in a bid to reshape himself, posted, “I called for this concert to be stopped and the authorities did not do so then. Damage has been done but we can avoid more damage. Free the artists and blame the organisers.”
However, this still didn’t save the ‘Kasepiki” singer as Nigerians continued spitting venom against him via various social media platforms vowing to deal with him in all possible ways one day.

As a result, Bebe Cool accompanied by NBS TV’s ‘UnCut Kalakata’ reporter Kayz allegedly took a step to seek sympathy from the furious Embassy officials in Uganda by accompanying the freed artists who were going to their embassy.
According to our sources, officials at the commission kicked Bebe Cool out, accusing him of having spearheaded the arrest of the artists, although the artists pleaded with the Embassy officials not to throw him away invain.
He added, given the fact that so much has happened to humanity in the world due to Covid-19, there is need to focus on not hurting each other more than what the pandemic has done to us.
He advised Ugandan musicians to learn to stand together and defend their country because of this is where they have their roots.
“I have played my part as a Ugandan artist, I have brought their people back into their hands,the rest we watch how they react to gesture of brotherhood,” Bebe said outside the Embassy gate as he coiled himself back into his car.
