The state has concluded the investigations into a case where incarcerated Bodaboda 2010 boss Abdullah Kitatta is being tried in the military court over illegal possession of firearms.
While chairing court, General court martial chairman Lt Gen Andrew Guti was informed by the State that the investigations ended with only four substantive witnesses.
On Tuesday, Major Raphael Mugisha the lead prosecutor informed court that the four witnesses were the key ones in the case and their evidence before court was sufficient to prove a case against Kitatta.
All four witnesses were UPDF officers working under the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI).
Witnesses who testified against Kitatta were Corporal Alex Baguma, Pte Richard Kasaijja, Corporal Richard Wanyama, and Maj. David Agaba all from Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence who were part of the operation that arrested the accused persons.
UPDF lead prosecutor Major Raphael Mugisha told court that witnesses presented coordinating overwhelming evidence which was sufficient to pin Kitatta and the group involvement in criminal acts.
Evidence presented revealed that Kitatta was nabbed from Hotel Room at Vinetea Hotel in Wakaliga with an AK47 gun and a golden pistol with  55 rounds of ammunition plus Military uniforms and caps from different offices.
Kitatta is facing cases of unlawful possession of firearms, ammunition and Military gear.
The court has asked Kitatta’s legal team to file defence.
The case has been adjourned to November 26th 2018.
