The newest and hottest kid on the block in the rugby fraternity, Tooro Lions Rugby Club will miss this Saturday’s game in Rwanda, unless their ancestral gods come to their rescue and provide shs 5,370,000/- (five million, three hundred seventy thousand) they urgently need by end of Thursday evening for their travel, food and accommodation expenses. while in Rwanda.

This was revealed to our Spy reporter this morning by the Club’s Coach, Norah Nyangoma as she cried on phone seeking for this paper CEO’s intervention, Andrew Irumba Katusabe.
Nyangoma, a female Coach training male Rugby Team said that all efforts to reach out to Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba who’s passionate about youth and sports have been frustrated by middle men up to now.
“I tried all our politicians in the region to atleast each contribute shs500k to raise the money in vain. I also tried to reach out to Gen Muhoozi, whom they told me likes youth and sports but all the efforts have been frustrated,” baby like crying Nyangoma narrated to our reporter.
Here Is Tooro Rugby Club’s Budget For Rwanda Games
This club has successfully participated in both the 2021 western regional rugby 7s as well as the recently concluded regional 15s tournaments finishing second overall. It is after this unique performance that attracted Rwanda to invite them to play in the 2nd edition of the Big Ants Sevens that will be in Kigali (11th-12th June 2022).
In the invitation letter seen by this reporter, Rwanda will cater for team’s lunch on full board for 15 persons from Saturday 11th June to Sunday 12th June, 2022 and provide internal transport whilst in Kigali from Hotel to the ground but the Club will cover:
1.Accommodations
2. Travel Expenses
3. Assembly Cost
4. Visa cost
5.Insurance for traveling party.

About Tooro Lions Club
Tooro Lions Rugby Club is a registered community based organization that was founded by Miss Nyangoma Norah Traton in Fort Portal tourism city, Rwenzori region with an objective of availing the youth with more diverse options in sport.
It is a registered member of Uganda Rugby Union since 2020 and has been operating in the community since 2016 with the majority of players from schools like Nyakasura Secondary School, St Leos College Kyegobe, Kyebambe Girls School, Fort-Portal College of Health Sciences, Kichwamba Technical College, Mountains of the Moon University, Uganda Pentecostal University among others.
