Muyanga, who has been at NBS TV for over a decade  hosting several shows, has retired from journalism to go and concentrate on his political career.

Mr.Kin used the same opportunity today to officially reveal his successor Mr. (theownerbuildernetwork.co) Kazibwe Bashir Mbazira, who will take over from him. Bashir, president Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) was officially introduced as  Muyanga’s successor.  Muyanga, who had become very popular because of his program ‘One On One’ with Tamale MIrundi,  leaved behind a very huge viewership for NBS  TV.

He contested for Bulamogi county MP seat but lost to NRM’s Kenneth Lubogo in the 2016 polls. His efforts to unseat Lubogo through court were unsuccessful when both the high court and the court of Appeal dismissed his petition with costs.
