Sembabule, Uganda: Louis Ntege Mbwatekamwa, the Member of Parliament for Kasambya County should go and eat his chicken, after surviving a deadly accident.
According to sources, the legislator escaped death after a Coaster van he was traveling in with several other people lost control and plunged into a ditch. Eyewitnesses reveal that incident occurred at Bumegere village,  in Sembabule district when the van they were traveling in from a burial in Ibanda district almost ended their lives. Many of the travelers sustained grave injuries and some of them ended up with broken limbs.  Mbwatekamwa, who escaped with minor injuries, revealed that the injured had been rushed to Mubende Hospital for immediate medical attention. However, when they reached Mubende district they were shocked to be told by the medics that there was no medicine at the hospital to treat them.
As if to prove how serious the matter was, the medics wrote the  medicine prescribed for the patients on a piece of  paper for Mbwatekamwa, who was told to buy the medicine for the patients, something that pissed him so much. The incident however comes at a time when over 10 people have perished in separate accidents that occurred in various parts of the country, including one of the Link Bus accident that occurred in Nakasongola on Sunday morning, claiming the lives of five people.
