The Chief Executive Officer of Uganda Airlines Ms. Jenifer Bamuturaki has been elected the President of the Africa Airlines Association (AFRAA)-TheSpy Uganda reports.
Bamuturaki’s presidency starts in 2023.
The elections were held during the 54th AFRAA Annual General Assembly in Dakar, Senegal, held on 13th December 2022.
This year’s Assembly was hosted by Air Senegal under the theme, “Acing the Roadmap to Sustainable African Aviation.”
The 2023 Assembly will be hosted by Uganda Airlines in Uganda.
The African Airlines Association (AFRAA) has been hosting the Annual General Assembly with delegates ranging from Airlines, Aircraft Manufacturers and Service Providers, Consultants and aviation stakeholders every year since 1969.
