Juba: The journalist who filmed and allegedly leaked the embarrassing moment in which South Sudan president H.E Salva Kiir wetted his pants has been reportedly found dead.
In a viral social media video, Kiir was filmed involuntarily wetting his trousers. The incident happened at an inspection of a guard of honor. While the national anthem was being sung, Kiir looked down at his trousers in shock only to see a stream of urine flowing down. Everyone at the ceremony frowned upon this incident and social media started buzzing right away.
Now, our sources in S.Sudan have reported that the journalist who filmed this video was found dead mysteriously in his room. According to our sources, a number of other journalists that attended the event and escalated the clip are equally on the hunt. Some are rumored to be missing already.
Although some other sources we talked to that are close to Kiir allege the journalist hanged himself out of shame, other sources said it was likely he was ‘put out action’.
“The journalist who shared the video of president Salva Kiir wetting his pants on a national event allegedly committed suicide. His body was found hanging in his residence with a note he allegedly left behind asking for forgiveness from the country,” added source.
