Hearing of the case former Buyende District Police Commander (DPC) ASP Muhammad Kirumira didn’t take place as scheduled. This was due to the disappearance of committee members that were conspicuously missing.
The mortar mouthed cop is being charged with neglect of duty contrary to Section 44(1) Code 19, corruption practices contrary to Section 44(1) Code 23(a) and irregular conduct contrary to Section 44(1) Code 12 of the Police Act.
Police court Chairman, Denis Odongpiny, said they will sit on Thursday to decide Kirumira’s fate.
After the flopped sitting, Kirumira was dragged back into the waiting police Van and rushed to Nalufenya.
