Kampala: Victoria University has asked students to pay their tuition before 17th this month to avoid missing lectures.
”All students are hereby required to pay all their outstanding fees balance. The deadline to complete payment of the balance of your fees is Friday 17h December 2021,” says the University.
According to the university management, any student who will fail to comply with the above deadline will not be allowed to attend classes and to sit for any assessments including the semester’s final examinations.

Further, University says effective Monday 20th December 2021, access to online or physical classes will only be given to students who have completed the payment of their fees.
”Any students with outstanding balances past the deadline will be deactivated for online classes and denied access to physical classes,” the University warns.
The management has since reminded students to clear their fees by paying through the bank Victoria University bank account number-: 218 143915 1 51110 for UGX and 218 143915 2 51110 for USD under Guaranty Trust Bank (Uganda) Ltd.
”Contact, Bursar, if you have any difficulties with payment, seek help from the Bursar’s office / chief-accountant@vu.ac. ug, Academic Registrar’s office by contacting these numbers: 0759996141,0759996107 or 0706226762,” says the University adding, ”Please note that students /parents who are making Payment please send the payment receipt/ Transfer Copy / Bank Confirmation Copy details along with the Name, Registration Number and Faculty, to the chief-accountant@vu.ac.ug without fail for the preparation of receipt for your payment.”
For a student to be eligible for examinations access, the University says he/she should have fully paid all tuition and functional fees.
