Elders in Tooro kingdom are not happy with Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi 1V and the Queen mother Best Kemigisa Akiiki, who they blame for neglecting the Royal tombs in Kasubi, Fort Portal, which have since gone to ruins.
The concerned elders who had gone to burry late Titto over weekend, another royal member told Spy Uganda that the tombs are about to be covered by bushes because even slashing or digging around them now looks ataboo.
The most neglected tomb however is that of King Oyo’s late sister Princess Cecilia Komukyeya, elder sister to King Oyo,who passed away in 1997 due to lucemia.
Despite the fact that it needs as a little as a bag of cement to repair, Princess Komukyeya’s tomb has been so neglected for long that soon rain might wash it away, because currently it is all cracked up.
Meanwhile the living royal family members are living large, spending relentlessly; actually Kemigisa is often on the globe-trotting with her flamboyant daughter Princess Ruth Komuntale where Oyo is always seen in Kampala’s most happening hungouts.
