Reports from close family sources indicate that Inspector General of Government (IGG) Beti Olive Namisango Kamya-Turomwe, has been rushed to hospital after she suffered a “sudden excruciating” pain in her heart.
This comes after she had been summoned to appear before Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities, and State Enterprises (COSASE) on issues surrounding the wrangles at the Uganda Land Commission (ULC), where she once served as Minister for Lands.
The revelation about Kamya’s health condition was made public by COSASE Chairperson Joel Ssenyonyi after he reportedly received a message from the IGG’s daughter.
This is not the first time Kamya is facing health complications, in January 23, 2011, she was rushed to International Hospital Kampala over an intestinal obstruction that saw her getting operated.
