Our Spy has learnt that during the End of Year strategic meeting held at their Firebase offices in Kamwokya on Thursday January 2, 2020,  there are very many strategies that were put in place to win the upcoming general elections.

According to  Jackline Nakajubi, a People Power diehard ,  the key strategy is unity amongst all opposition candidates, plus cooperation and solidarity in the leadership of People Power movement. All members were urged to perfectly represent People  Power and not to leave the struggle for only the Principle Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi.

It was also noted that the People Power is only massively supported in the central region but not anywhere else in other parts of the country.

Too much emphasis was put on serious and continuous mobilization of the electorate to get ready to push  government out of power so that power can belong to the citizens again.

The issue of the so many unemployed people especially the youth was also discussed and hence job creation  is also among the top issues to be addressed once People Power takes over government next year.

However, Nakajubi revealed that the People Power movement has learnt that  there  is going to be an increase in  arrests and detentions of the people in the movement by the security organs. She thus  urged members to stay focused not to be intimidated.

It should be noted that Bobi Wine recently announced that he is kicking off his national presidential consultations on January 5, 2020, so as to be able to prepare adequately for the 2021 election, whereby he wants to oust President Yoweri Museveni on People Power ticket.
