The National Resistance Movement Electoral Commission Chairman cantankerous Dr.Tanga Odoi while appearing on NBS Television Morning Breeze this week admitted that the Kyadondo East MP Hon Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi wine is an intelligent man. Tanga has cleared contracted his bosses in the party including his party Chairman president Yoweri Museveni who have been describing the Ghetto Gladiator as a thug, greedy and un reasonably aggressively inciting the unsuspecting youth into criminal acts.
“Bobi wine isn’t a thug and aggressive as ‘people’ say, he is very intelligent and reasonable in his moves,that’s why he has now defeated us thrice now, in Kyadondo, Bugiri and now Arua,” Tanga admitted.
Mr. Tanga aslo said that NRM’s By-Election loss in Arua was due to lack of thorough preparations by the party and regretted that the party lost in areas it was not supposed to loose. “It’s the same thing that happened in Bugiri though we had a very good candidate,” he said.
He pointed out that the primaries for the Arua municipality by-elections were not okay as they had many problems and the money for mobilization was released on 16th , just a day to the elections which he said affected preparations.
“Our own party members in Arua warned us that they would vote for Kassiano Wadri, even when we had a party flag bearer in the names of Nusura Tiperu. The current dispensation within the secretariat will weaken the party,” Tanga warned.
