Kampala: Behold all ye Ugandans! We now have Miss Curvy Uganda, after Belinda Nansasi,25, scooping the crown at the Miss Curvy Uganda 2019 pageant, which was held at Imperial Royale Hotel, on Friday night. On top of being crowned Miss Curvy, Nansasi also won herself a sleek Jeep Grand Cherokee and a scholarship at Victoria University to study a Diploma, Bachelors or Masters Degree in addition to a free short course in Public Speaking and Presentation. Nansasi, who is so bubbly and bootylicious, hails from Kitooro-Entebbe, in Wakiso district.
She beat 24 other contestants to the crown and grand prize after the ladies completed a series of cat-walking on the runway in different attires and a brain battle answering questions from the judges. State minister for tourism Godfrey Kiwanda, who launched the Miss Curvy pageant a few months back, was among the dignitaries who were at the event and took the honour of crowning Nansasi.
The beauty pageant was started with a main objective of promoting Uganda’s tourism sector by attracting as many tourists to the country as possible. Well, now after being crowned, Nansasi’s chief role is to start attracting tourists in Uganda, because many can’t wait to explore her curvaceous natural endowments.
