Parliament: 24 people have been seriously injured by two separate bomb explosion that took place at Parliament avenue and along Buganda. Fatalities are yet to be confirmed as all victims have been rushed to hospital for management. Most affected were quickly referred to Mulago referral Hospital for further management.
Ministry of Health spokesperson Emmanuel Ainebyoona, said in a Twitter post that atleast 24 people had been hospitalized with injuries sustained in the blasts. Four of them are critically injured, he said.
According to police spokesperson CP Fred Enanga 3 people have so far been confirmed dead, two of them suicide bombers who detonated themselves before they exploded.
Enanga also confirmed that these are domestic terror attacks.
