Breaking: King’s College Budo On Fire Again!

By Denis Turyahebwa

Kampala: Fire has gutted King’s College Budo’s Grace House leaving properties worth millions in ash state. This becomes the second time the school has faced a fire crisis noting the one of 2008 that saw dozens of children perishing in on-fire hostels.

Meanwhile, TheSpy Uganda has learnt that this time no student has been injured since the fire broke out when they had gone out for morning preps

However, preliminary reports indicate that the precious building has been heavily smashed with all properties but the cause of the fire has not yet been established as police are yet to release an official statement.

According to Luke Owoyesigyire, the acting Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, the fire started at around 7am from a building housing senior one and three students while students were attending morning preps.

“The Police Fire and rescue services have responded to a fire outbreak break at King’s College Budo today in the morning. So far, fire and rescue services have managed to contain the fire from spreading any further,” Owoyesigyire said in a statement.
