BEIJING: A naval aircraft of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army crashed in southern Hainan province on Tuesday leaving two pilots killed, the Chinese Defense Ministry said.
According to the ministry’s statement, the incident took place during a training flight in Ledong Li Autonomous County.
The crash did not result in any casualties on the ground, and the causes of the incident are being investigated.
