Pencil-thin city socialite Kirumira Bryan alias Bryan White has been dragged to commercial court for breach of contract by an upcoming artiste Mukasa Simon commonly known as Lucky da Costa.
The self-proclaimed city money bags is accused of failing to pay a paltry UGX 10 million to Lucky da Costa who composed a song “Hero” and he (Bryan White) asked the song to be copyrighted for his Foundation-Brian White Foundation..
Through Muwada and company advocates, Lucky da Costa and his management filed a case against Bryan White and the documents had already been delivered to Brian’s office by the time we filed this report.
According to the document, Bryan White and Lucky Costa entered into a deal on 9th February 2018 where the tycoon purchased the copyrights of his publications song ‘ Heroe- Basima Bagenzi and his physical performance of the same song at Sh10m with promises of buying the singer land and construct him a house.
“You have engaged our client to perform the same song on various Bryan White foundation programs including Auto Spa Munyonyo and Kakyeka stadium Mbarara during the launch of Bryan White foundation. Pay us Shs 200m as compensation in a lieu of image damage/slander caused on our client’s name by media” reads part of the document.
It has been alleged that the tycoon has been playing hide and seek games whenever Costa tried to ask for his payment.
