Bryan White Faces Arrest For Snubbing Parliamentary Committee On Human Rights Over Rape, Torture Of Employees

Socialite Bryan Kirumira aka Bryan White could find himself behind bars during this Coronavirus lockdown after he has consistently refused to appear before the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights, to answer allegations of sexual abuse and rape.

Bryan White was summoned by the committee after three of his former employees at the Bryan White Foundation accused them of allegedly drugging, raping and forcing them to abort.

The girls who include; Vivian Mutanda, Stella Nandawula and Leticia Nabulime alleged before the Committee and in the media that during the time they were working at Bryan White’s  Foundation  he severally sexually abused  them and kept sneering at them that they had nothing to do about it because even if they reported him no policeman would arrest him.

Following the  allegations, the Committee led by Vice Chairperson MP Agnes Taaka, summoned Bryan White to appear on June 18th, 2020, but he did not show up and instead claimed to be sick.

Letter summoning Bryan White to appear before Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights

He was theafter directed to appear today June 25th, 2020 but instead of showing up in person, he sent his lawyer to represent him before the Committee on Human Rights.

However,  it is said that the Committee declined to meet his lawyer and instructed him to produce Bryan White as soon as possible and that if he fails to do so, the matter shall be handed over to police such that he can be arrested and forced to answer allegations lodged against him by his former employees.

It should be noted that Parliament took interest in the matter after Hon. Henry Kibalya (Bugabula South MP) raised a matter of National Importance on Human Rights, after the ladies who have since interfaced with the Committee, went public with the allegations that Bryan White had abused them sexually on top of torturing them.

Meanwhile, we have established that Joyce Namirembe,  who is Leticia’s mother, is living in fear for her life ever since the scandal went public.

Namirembe revealed this week that ever since she met the Committee over Bryan White’s sexual abuse scandals she has been receiving threats from anonymous callers, who sometimes send her threatening messages.

She said she reported the matter to police but whenever detectives try to track the caller’s phone numbers they find them switched off.

Efforts to reach Bryan White for a comment about the matter were futile because he refused to answer our repeated phone calls.
