BUL FC Hit 4 Past Ndejje University FC

JINJA: On form BUL FC moved up to second place on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League after a convincing 4-1 win against Ndejje University FC on Saturday.

Daniel Shabena netted a brace while Hamis Tibita and Deogratious Ojok added a goal each to guide BUL FC to victory. Dickens Kalama scored the consolation for the visitors.

BUL FC started like a house on fire and had three goals by the 33rd minute mark in what seemed to be an easy evening.

Shabena opened the scores as early as the 13th minute. A long ball from goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo was received by Shabena who fired a ferocious strike for the opener.

Tibita doubled the lead for the hosts in the 24th minute converting from the spot to register his third goal of the season.

BUL FC were however forced into making an early change when left back Jamaldine Karenzi who got injured and was replaced by Farouk Banga in the 28th minute.

Shaban got his second of the day and BUL’s third with his attempted cross deflected into the back of the net.

In the second stanza, Ndejje University started the better side and Kilama scored from the spot a minute upon restart.

Ojok scored the fourth goal for BUL FC to seal off the win.
