Kampala: Farmers in Uganda are set to enjoy quality services and boost their agricultural projects through getting access to vital information and technology about the agricultural sector in Uganda.
This will be
enabled by the first ever Farmers One
Call Centre, which is set to be launched by Cabral Tech Limited, an agriculture software company, on August 16th,
2019 at Hotel Africana, Kagera Hall.
Cabral  Tech has extensive expertise in the design, development and distribution of farm management software tools and mobile applications, with the intimate vision of ensuring maximum agricultural productivity and food security, around the world.
It is in
that spirit that the Company is stepping up to create a product that takes advantage
of technology to answer a need for all stakeholders in the agricultural
sector by offering digital extension
services to farmers across the country through establishing a multi-purpose one stop
Farmers Call Centre.
The Platform
will not only be useful to farmers but
all entities like governments, international agencies, private corporations,
individuals and everyone within the
sector, not just by connectivity but also
facilitating market linkages, research and development, among other advantages.
However,
apart from the Farmers Call Centre, the Company will also be introducing
farmers and stakeholders in the agricultural sector to their software products which
include MyFarm, Livestock Manager, Crop
Manager, among others.
