Kampala: The exclusive news on our desk indicates that Bukoto based Hot 100 FM has been bought by Mr.Pike Williams who owns 91.3 Capital FM and 96.3 Beat Fm.
Hot 100 FM owned by a one Isaac Mulindwa and a sister to Radio Simba, started in 2006 and was launched in 2007 as an urban youth station majoring in Hip Hop and RnB.
The once biggest radio station in Kampala Hot 100 went through several rebrands and reshuffles to reclaim its glory but the strategies failed to work out.
We have learnt that Pike is now on the move of revamping it into a new radio station when he fully takes over by the end of the year.
Mulindwa is also minority shareholder in Radio Simba.
