Among the positions that have been voted for include;
2.  1st National Vice Chairperson,
3. Â 2nd National Vice Chairperson(female),
4. Â 6 Vice Chairpersons representing the Regions of Uganda- East, Central, North, West, Kampala and Karamoja.
According to our reporters in different polling stations, on the position of 2nd National Vice Chairperson (female), the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga is still on top of her main opponent Persis Namuganza.
Both Kadaga and Namuganza have traded insults and attacks against one another in the quest for the Vice Chairperson of the NRM chairperson in charge of the Eastern region.
It is also said that Kadaga has won in Kampala, Wakiso, Mpigi, Masaka and Mukono, however this can only be confirmed after the party’s electoral commission official declaration.
We shall keep you updated on this election……..!
