The tragic news of the passing of Rev. Eriasafu Serwadda, father of Col. Edith Nakalema, the Senior Presidential Advisor on Anti-Corruption, has deeply affected the nation. Rev. In an emotional announcement shared through her official X account on Saturday, Col. Nakalema, who also heads the State House Investors Protection Unit, expressed her profound sorrow. Describing her father’s passing as a heartbreaking loss, she sought prayers and support during this incredibly difficult time.
“With profound sorrow, I share the heartbreaking news of my father’s sudden death,” Col. Nakalema wrote. “In this moment of deep loss, we hold onto the promise in Psalm 34:18: ‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.'”
