It’s a swift progress at the multi-billion Nakivubo Stadium, Kampala where the installation of turf has kicked off.

This has been confirmed by a barrage of photos shared widely via various social media handles by the funder of this project tycoon Hamis Kiggundu.

It is said that the Artificial turf was acquired from Turkey and the fitting works started right after laying the foundation to compact the base.

According to the constructors, works on the pavilion are almost done whereas works on the dressing room, toilets, and fittings in the directors’ box, will be finished by November this very year.

Last week, officials from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) inspected and witnessed the stadium’s progress and according to our sources, they were thrilled by the quality work they found on the ground.
