Kampala: The Ministry of Health has announced changes in vaccination centers saying with effect from 31st May 2021, COVID-19 vaccination will not be held at the Ministry of Health headquarters but will instead be taking place at Kololo Independence Grounds from 9:00am-5:00pm daily.

As a result therefore, the Ministry says that all eligible persons, i.e. health workers, security personnel, teachers, people aged above 50 years and those aged between 18-50yrs with co-morbidities should take note of the changes.
“All other vaccination centers will continue operating as usual. Protect Yourself. Get vaccinated,” announces the Ministry.
Results of COVID-19 tests done on 28 May 2021 confirm 690 new cases out of 5,166 samples tested. The cumulative confirmed cases are 46,623.
Total COVID-19 deaths: 362
Active cases on admission at health facility: 364
Cumulative Recoveries: 43,401

The development comes at a time when results of COVID-19 tests done on 28 May 2021 have just confirmed 690 new cases out of 5,166 samples tested bringing the cumulative confirmed cases to 46,623.
In the same vein, Ministry says that total COVID-19 deaths in Uganda are 362 whereas 364 are active cases on admission at health facilities while cumulative recoveries stand at 43,401.
