Dawda Foundation Donates Relief Aid To 2000 Kenyan Slum Families Affected By COVID-19

Dawda-Foundation, a charity organization headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, under the steady stewardship of its Founding Chairman Dr. Hasmukh P. Dawda, have started the week-long distribution of relief aid to 2000 poor families living in Africa’s biggest slums, Kogera and Kigorocho in the out skirts of Kenya.

The relief items distributed to people mainly affected by the Coronavirus lockdown include Cassava flour (Ugali), beans, salt, soap, cooking oil among others.

The distribution exercise which started four days ago is expected to continue for the next three days in order to cover at least 2000 of the most hit families in Nairobi slums.

Dr.Dawda is the proprietor of House of Manji (Kenya) and House of Dawda (Uganda), the manufacturers of among others, Splash, variety Biscuits, Top Up  tomato sauces and  several other household confectioneries.

Dawda is not new to anthropism world, he has educated hundreds of youths in Uganda and Kenya among other charitable acts to the unpreveledged.

It should be noted that Kenya has been hit by Codiv19 morethan Uganda, although Kenya has declined to institute a curfew on its citizens. All people are still free to travel from one end of the country to another between 6:30am to 7pm.
