Uganda’s only BET award winner Edirisa Mussuza aka Eddy Kenzo’s star is shining brighter than ever, after he scooped another international music award.
Spy Uganda has learnt that Kenzo was on Saturday October 19, 2019 handed the African Entertainer of the Year at the African Entertainment Awards USA (AEAUSA).
Kenzo scooped the award because of his great contribution to the music industry on the global scene,
Shortly after scooping the award, Kenzo tweeted thus; “Congratulations Uganda! We have just won African Entertainer of the Year Award at African Entertianment Award USA.”
Well, just like the BET award, Kenzo is again the first Ugandan and East African musician to win the much coveted AEAUSA award, after beating Nigerian star Davido.
However, it is not yet clear whether his ex-lover Rema Namakula, who dumped him for Dr Hamza Sebunya, will celebrate this great milestone with him.
Meanwhile, we have since learnt that Kenzo called upon all his fans in Uganda and other parts of the world to cease fire they had started against Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata, who insulted him by telling him to go and marry his mother during Rema’s ‘Kukyala’ ceremony a few days back.
This, our Spies reveal, came to pass after Muzaata pleaded with Kenzo to meet him when he returned to Uganda, such that they can sort out the beef between them through dialogue.
