State Minister for Luweero Triangle and Rwenzori Region, Hon. Alice Karamuzi Kaboyo has on Saturday joined 3rd Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Without Portfolio Hon Lukia Isanga Nakadama, in Mayuge district to celebrate belated Women’s Day. Nakadama is also the Woman Member of Parliament for Mayuge District.
At the celebration, Minister Kaboyo encouraged residents to adhere to presidential pleas to embrace Parish Development Model (PDM) project which emanated from Parish community association that was under her ministry.
PDM is premised on the model that the Parish Development Committee (PDC) together with common citizens as the end user of social services are better placed to identify and respond to their own needs, priorities, and direct use of resources.
Hon. Alice thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for always supporting and drumming for the NRM party and mobilizing for its support in her district and other neighboring districts.
