Kampala, Uganda: Commissioner of Police Fred Enanga was appointed police spokesperson in the recent reshuffle by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Martin Okoth Ochola.
Enanga is set to replace outgoing police mouthpiece SSP Emilian Kayima. Following the development, Enanga has since issued an acceptance statement which reads thus; “Now that the congratulatory messages are almost done, let me take this opportunity together with my deputy, to express our gratitude to the IGP and DIGP for the reappointment as PRO. The chance given to us is highly worthy and we do promise to utilize our expertise and skills under your great leadership, wisdom and guidance to escalate the image of the institution. To the Director CID, all Deputies, and the entire staff, I thank you all for the opportunity of working together. Your support, time and effort have contributed to my growth and that of the Directorate. I am certain that we will continue to cooperate and actively work together to promote the image of our institution. To our comrade Emilian, and all those who were appointed, we would like to congratulate you all for your tireless efforts and initiatives.
